Marius is an ass, Cosette is a dumb-blonde, Jean Valjean is awesome, and Eponine should not have died! A large (and ponderous) book filled with twists and sadness, chronicling the lives of the poor during the French revolution. Les Miserables may make your life miserable while reading it just because it's what? 3-5 pounds? But it's all worth it in the end when you can't stop crying, trust me!
